          Maximum temperatures in the high thirties to the mid forties and overnight minimum temperatures in the mid to high twenties. 

The heat is expected to continue building over the next few days then slowly contract northwards later this week.  Locations likely to be impacted include Cunnamulla, Quilpie and Windorah.
