In Vermont, Eastern Addison, Eastern Chittenden, Eastern Franklin, Lamoille, and Eastern Rutland Counties. * WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Scattered to widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will occur between 8 AM and 1 PM, particularly around Malone, NY and in the western facing slopes of the Greens. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
