...SUDDEN STRONG NON-THUNDERSTORM DOWNBURST WINDS POSSIBLE THROUGH 10 PM PDT... Virga showers drifting across portions of central and northeastern Nevada will remain capable of producing sudden, erratic non- thunderstorm downburst winds with gusts to 55 mph through 10:00 PM PDT. An isolated peak gust of 58 mph was observed at the Ely airport around 7:20 PM. These downbursts will cause sudden crosswinds with localized blowing dust possible, which may briefly reduce visibilities to 3 miles. Motorists, especially drivers of high profile vehicles should exercise caution this evening and be prepared for rapid weather changes. The threat of gusty winds is expected to diminishing after 10 PM PDT as the atmosphere stabilizes.
