* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Missouri, including
the following counties, in southwest Missouri, Cedar. In west
central Missouri, St. Clair and Vernon.

* WHEN...Until 530 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1122 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- This includes the following low water crossings...
Clear Creek at Rebel Road and Little Clear Creek at Oz Road.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
El Dorado Springs, Montevallo, Roscoe, Cedar Springs and
Tiffin.

of Nevada at the gage site.

- At 7:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 22.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:45 PM CDT Friday was 22.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.3
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Sunday afternoon.
