...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM MDT EARLY THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Colorado, including the following county, Mesa. * WHEN...Until 415 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 107 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.4 and 0.6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Grand Junction, Palisade, Fruitvale, Clifton, Orchard Mesa and Redlands. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
