...GALE FORCE WINDS EXPECTED FRIDAY INTO SUNDAY...

A Gale force low in the Gulf of Alaska will move east Friday
through Sunday this week. As it makes its way closer to the
panhandle, winds along the southern gulf coast and inner channels
will increase to near gales to gale force winds of 30 to 40 kts.
The strongest of these winds will be over Clarence strait into
northern Dixon Entrance Saturday morning with an 80% or greater
chance of reaching strong gale force wind gusts. Wave heights
along southern waters will build to 10 to 12 ft Saturday before
subsiding again Sunday.
