...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Oklahoma, including the following
counties, Latimer, Le Flore and Pushmataha.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 440 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties,
Benton, Crawford, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma,
including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Haskell,
Latimer, Le Flore, McIntosh, Muskogee, Pittsburg, Pushmataha and
Sequoyah.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread showers and thunderstorms will move slowly
southward across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas late
tonight through early Saturday morning. Rainfall amounts of 1
to 3 inches will be common with localized amounts of 4 to 5
inches possible.
