...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 8 PM EDT
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...High temperatures around 90 Saturday, increasing to the
lower and middle 90s Sunday. Low temperatures will only drop into
the 70s Saturday night. Combination of heat and humidity will
result in heat indices of 95 to 100 degrees, especially during the
afternoon Sunday.

* WHERE...Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...From noon Saturday to 8 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
related illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Expect sustained winds up to 20 knots from the
southwest with gusts up to 32 knots. The largest significant
waves will be 4 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 5
feet.

* WHERE...Outer Saginaw Bay SW of Alabaster to Port Austin MI to
Inner Saginaw Bay and Inner Saginaw Bay SW of Point Au Gres to
Bay Port MI.

* WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 5 PM EDT Saturday
with the largest waves expected around 6 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
