Water from the Wisconsin River backs into Hulburt Creek causing floodwaters to affect the backyards of some businesses in downtown Wisconsin Dells near Highway 13. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.5 feet. - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood && River forecasts are available for some but not all river gaging locations. Other roads that are flooded are River Oaks Road in the Town of Dekorra, River Shores Road in the Town of Lewiston, Levee Road, Wood Street, Summit St, Conant St and parts of Thunderbird Road in the Portage area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.4 feet Thursday evening.
