...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Atchison KS, Doniphan, Johnson KS, Leavenworth, Linn KS, Miami and Wyandotte and Missouri, including the following areas, Bates, Buchanan, Caldwell, Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Clinton, Jackson, Johnson MO, Lafayette, Linn MO, Livingston, Macon, Platte, Ray and Saline. * WHEN...Through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms with elevated rainfall rates (1 to 3 inches per hour) may develop and continue to move over the same areas for several hours. After initial heavy rainfall into Sunday morning, additional rounds of heavy rainfall may occur in some areas on Sunday night.
