In south central Washington, Lower Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades Crest and Upper Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades Crest. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Heavy rain and river flooding will lead to minor inundation of residential and agricultural areas. River flooding may lead to water over roads and impact low-lying roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 318 AM PST, The public reported flooding in Elk Meadows along the Yakima River and nearby small streams. Flooding is ongoing. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen over the last 24 hours. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Big Creek, Little Creek and Yakima River. Additional rainfall amounts of 2.5 to 4.5 inches are possible in the warned area through Friday morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
