...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PDT TODAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following counties, Orange and San Bernardino. * WHEN...Until noon PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 943 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... ...FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR THE BRIDGE, LINE, APPLE, EL DORADO AND AIRPORT BURN SCAR REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive rainfall continue to be possible over the Bridge, Line, Apple, El Dorado and Airport burn scar. * WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following areas, Orange County Inland Areas, San Bernardino County Mountains and Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills. * WHEN...Through this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall over the Bridge, Line, Apple, El Dorado and Airport burn scar Rainfall rates of 0.40 to 0.90 inch per hour are expected up to and during the period of the watch. Residents near the Bridge, Line, Apple, El Dorado and Airport burn scar should prepare for potential flooding impacts. Be sure to stay up to date with information from local authorities.
