* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 493 Central Utah Mountains
and Fire Weather Zone 496 Color Country Mountains.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Winds
will decrease but remain elevated after midnight through
Saturday morning, increasing once again to southwest 20 to 30
mph with gusts to 50 mph by late Saturday morning.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 5 to 10 percent Friday afternoon
and evening and 10 to 15 percent Saturday afternoon and evening.
Little to no recovery Friday night.

* IMPACTS...This is a Particularly Dangerous Situation. Extreme
fire weather conditions are expected. Any new fire starts or
existing fires may spread rapidly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a Particularly Dangerous Situation that poses a
significant threat to life and property in the event of a
wildfire start or with an existing fire. Residents are urged to
assemble an emergency supply kit and know their evacuation
routes. In some cases, safe and timely evacuation may not be
possible should a fire approach. Have multiple ways to receive
instructions from emergency services, and evacuate if ordered to
or if a fire threatens.

South Central Utah, Upper Sevier River Valleys, Lower Washington
County, and Southwest Utah.

* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to midnight MDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result. Blowing dust may reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers. Use extra caution.
