Special Statement
Issued: 3:44 AM CST Feb. 25, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Freezing temperatures likely over much of Arkansas tonight...

As high pressure settles into the region tonight, a clear sky and
light winds will allow temperatures to fall below freezing in a
large part of the state.

Freezing temperatures will last several hours, at least in
northern and much of central Arkansas. Due to recent warm
temperatures, many plants have begun to bloom. Freezing
temperatures will likely damage or even kill any sensitive plants
that are unprotected.

Caution should be taken to protect any sensitive outdoor plants
and vegetation. Consider bringing in outdoor pets as well.
