Special Weather Statement
Issued: Environment Canada
Special Weather Statement issued by Environment. 12:05 AM EDT Monday 27 March 2017.
The freezing rain will end this morning near the border with Ontario and Vermont but persist much of the day elsewhere, even until tonight near Quebec. 2 to 10 millimetres of freezing precipitations are expected north of the St. Lawrence River and lesser amounts south of it.

###

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ec.cpiq_tempetes-qspc_storms.ec@canada.ca or tweet reports using #meteoqc.
