Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 6:02 AM MST Dec. 10, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MST this
evening...

* timing... periods of snow will occur through Saturday
afternoon. There will be moderate to heavy snow at times
during the event. Snowfall will decrease to snow showers
Saturday evening.

* Total snowfall... 3 to 6 inches expected.

* Wind and visibility... the wind will pick up Saturday morning.
Expect a west wind of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph in
open areas of the basin. This will result in blowing and
drifting snow along with lowered visibility down to one
quarter of a mile at times.

* Impacts... roads may become slick and snow packed with limited
visibility at times. People planning outdoor activities should
be prepared for adverse winter weather conditions and take the
proper precautions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow means that
visibilities will be severely limited due to strong winds blowing
snow around. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas. Check the latest Road conditions at wyoroad.Info or by
dialing 5 1 1.
