Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 8:04 AM MDT Mar. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon MDT
today...

* timing... light snow will continue through the mid morning
hours then decrease toward noon.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches, mainly extreme southern
Jefferson and western Douglas counties.

* Wind/visibility... north 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph.
Visibilities could be under one quarter of a mile in heavier
snow.

* Impacts... snow, gusty winds and poor visibilities will create
hazardous winter driving conditions. Roads will be icy and
snow packed.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas.
