... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6 am MDT Friday...

* timing... snow showers will become steadier and heavier this
afternoon and continue Thursday and Thursday night. The heaviest
snow is expected on Thursday.

* Total snow... 6 to 12 inches.

* Main impact... highways will become slick and snow covered,
including chief Joseph Highway. Visibility could be reduced to
under one quarter mile at times.

cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
