... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Saturday...

* expect a wintry mix to continue today, gradually becoming all snow
this evening.

* Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches and ice
accumulations of up to 2/10 of an inch are expected.

* Winds gusting as high as 35 mph may cause patchy blowing and
drifting snow, especially on ridge tops and in open areas. In
addition, significant reductions in visibility are expected.

* The ice and snow will result in difficult travel conditions,
including during the morning and evening commutes today.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving. The latest Road conditions for the state you are calling

The Flood Warning continues for
the Wisconsin river at Castle Rock dam.
* At 4:10 am Friday the flow was 32053 cfs.
* Flood stage is 30000 cfs.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river flow will start to decrease today, dropping
below flood stage by Sunday morning.
* Impact... at 30000.0 cfs... localized flooding occurs near Highway z
downstream of the dam.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Yellow River at Necedah.
* Until Tuesday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 3:30 am Friday the stage was 18.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is near crest now and will start to fall this
morning... dropping below flood stage by Tuesday morning.
