The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* flood advisory for...
northern Brown County in southwestern Ohio...
southwestern Clinton County in southwestern Ohio...
central Highland County in southwestern Ohio...

* until 145 am EDT.

* At 1047 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain. 1 to 1.5 inches of rainfall has already fallen with another
inch possible.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Hillsboro, Lynchburg, New Vienna, Rocky Fork Point, Highland Holiday,
Russell, Martinsville, Fayetteville, Midland, St. Martin, Rocky Fork
Lake, Samantha, Rainsboro, Westboro, Highland County Airport and
Paint Creek State Park.

deaths occur in vehicles.
