Issued: 5:27 AM CDT May. 28, 2017 – National Weather Service

... A Flood Warning remains in effect until noon CDT Sunday for
Ozark... Shannon... Douglas... Howell and Oregon counties...

The Department of Transportation continues to report flooding across
the warned area. Multiple low water crossings remain flooded and
closed due to recent heavy rainfall.

Creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be especially
susceptible to the dangers of flooding.

This warning includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...
Route ff at Hunter Creek east of Ava...
Route h, 3 miles east of Winona...
Route ff at Turkey Creek east of Ava...
Highway 142 at the Spring River west of Lanton...
and Highway 142 at the Bennetts River West of Moody.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate Route.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
