coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
nm...

* until 700 PM EST

* at 556 PM EST... a strong thunderstorm was located 8 nm west of
Talbot Island... or 37 nm northwest of Saint Augustine... moving east
at 45 knots.

Hazard... wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots... suddenly higher
           waves... frequent lightning... and heavy downpours. Make
           sure all on board are wearing life jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
Talbot Island... Palm Valley... Jacksonville Beach... Atlantic
Beach... Mayport... Nassau Sound approach buoy 6a... Amelia City...

10 am EST Tuesday...

* winds... southwest winds increasing to 20 knots on Sunday...
shifting to the west at 20 to 25 knots Sunday night. An
occasional gale force gust is possible Monday and Monday
night.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots...
and/or seas 7 feet or higher... are expected to produce
hazardous conditions for small craft. Inexperienced boaters...
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions.
