... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM MDT this
evening above 9000 feet...

* locations include... Telluride, Silverton, and Rico.

* Timing... periods of snow, heavy at times, will continue
through this evening.

* Snow accumulation... 4 to 8 inches above 9000 feet with 2 to 4
inches below 9000 feet.

* Winds... west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Impacts... visibility will be reduced in moderate to heavy snow
and higher elevation roadways may be snowpacked or slushy
making travel difficult.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or
blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
