Issued: 4:29 AM AKST Jan. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow remains in
effect until 3 am akst Tuesday north and west of King Salmon...

* location... north and west of King Salmon.

* Snow... accumulation 3 to 8 inches... highest north of Dillingham.

* Visibility... reduced to one-half mile or less at times.

* Wind... northeast wind 15 to 30 mph. Gusts as high as 45
mph... mainly on Monday morning.

* Timing... heavy snowfall and northerly winds will continue
developing this morning... creating areas of limited visibilities
in falling and blowing snow. The heaviest snow and strongest
winds are expected to occur during the late morning and evening
hours today before winds begin to diminish late tonight. Snow
showers will then continue to bring accumulating snow to the
area on Tuesday... however with much lighter winds significant
areas of blowing snow are not expected.

* Impacts... travel may be difficult. Visibilities will be
limited in falling and blowing snow.
