Heat Advisory
Issued: 3:32 AM EDT Jul. 23, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Heat advisory remains in effect until 8 PM EDT Sunday...

* temperature... afternoon highs in the low to mid 90s.

* Maximum heat index values... from 100 to 104.

* Impacts... there is a risk of heat related illnesses for people
with prolonged outdoor exposure... especially those working in
the direct sunshine. Those without air conditioning are at
risk. The elderly and small children are especially
susceptible to the heat. Make sure outdoor pets have plenty of
water and shade.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A heat advisory means that the combination of high temperatures
and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which
heat illnesses are possible. Drink plenty of fluids... stay in an
air-conditioned room... stay out of the sun... and check up on
relatives and neighbors.
