... Elevated heat index values expected each afternoon today
through Sunday along and east of the Interstate 35 corridor...

Afternoon temperatures in the upper 90s and lower 100s through the
weekend will combine with high moisture to create heat index
values in the 104 to 108 degree range for portions of south
central Texas along and east of the Interstate 35 corridor.

Please take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside
in the afternoon. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing if
possible, and make sure you drink plenty of water and take
frequent breaks while working outside in the heat.
