Issued: 1:28 PM CDT Sep. 25, 2016 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
northeastern Dallas County in north central Texas...
Rockwall County in north central Texas...
northwestern Kaufman County in north central Texas...

* until 330 PM CDT

* at 127 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated training thunderstorms
that were producing heavy rainfall across Rockwall and
northeastern portions of Dallas counties. Excessive runoff from
these thunderstorms will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding.
Areas that are low lying or usually experience poor drainage are
most likely to experience flooding. This means some low water
crossings in the region may become impassable.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dallas... Garland... Mesquite... Richardson... Rowlett... Wylie...
Rockwall... Sachse... Terrell... Forney... Royse City... Heath... fate...
Sunnyvale... Mobile City... McLendon-Chisholm and Lawrence.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
