Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 4:14 AM EST Jan. 19, 2019 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am EST Monday...

* what... heavy snow. Snow accumulations of 6 to 11 inches with
the highest amounts in Pennsylvania. Additional light lake
effect snow will continue Sunday and Sunday night across the
primary and secondary snowbelts. Northeast winds will gust as
high as 35 mph tonight except locally up to 40 mph near Lake

* Where... portions of northwest Pennsylvania and north central
and northeast Ohio.

* When... until 4 am EST Monday. The heaviest snow will fall this
afternoon and evening.

* Additional details... travel could be very difficult. Areas of
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Wet surfaces
will freeze and become slick tonight as temperatures plunge into
the teens. Wind chills will fall to between 5 and 15 below zero
Sunday night and could result in hypothermia if precautions are
not taken.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
