... Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until 11 am PDT
... Hazardous seas warning remains in effect from 5 am early this
   morning to 11 am PDT Thursday...

* winds... north 20 to 25 kt through Tuesday evening... increasing
to 25 to 30 kt with occasional gale force gusts Tuesday
evening... persisting into Wednesday night. Small Craft Advisory
winds will then continue into Thursday morning.

* Seas... steep wind driven northwest seas 6 to 8 ft through
Tuesday morning. Northerly seas will build Tuesday evening
through Wednesday night to a steep to very steep 8 to 11 feet.

* Areas affected... Small Craft Advisory level conditions are
expected to affect all except the most sheltered areas of the
coast. The hazardous seas warning will be south of Cape Arago
beyond 5 nm of the coast... except closer near Cape Blanco.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that winds and seas will create a
potential hazard to smaller vessels and inexperienced mariners.

A hazardous seas warning means very steep and hazardous sea
conditions are imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should
remain in port, or take shelter until waves subside. Commercial
vessels should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in
port or taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.
