South winds to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 ft. Swell northeast 3 ft. Haze through the day. Occasional showers and chance of thunderstorms late in the morning. Heavy showers likely and chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds and small hail in the afternoon.
Tonight
South winds to 25 kt. Wind waves 4 ft. Swell northeast 3 ft. Haze in the evening. Heavy showers likely and chance of thunderstorms in the evening...then scattered heavy showers and chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds and small hail in the evening.
Thursday
Southwest winds 20 kt in the morning becoming variable less than 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. Swell northeast 3 ft. Scattered showers.
Thursday Night
South winds 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less then 3 ft after midnight. Swell northeast 3 ft. Scattered showers.
Friday
South winds 10 kt. Wind waves 3 ft in the morning then 2 ft or less. Swell northeast 3 ft. Haze. Isolated showers.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Small Craft
Advisory... which is in effect until 2 am HST Thursday.

* Winds and seas... southeast winds 20 to 25 kt... becoming south
this evening through tonight. Seas 6 to 9 ft.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that winds speeds of 25 to 33 knots
and/or seas 10 feet or greater are expected to produce conditions
hazardous to small craft. Inexperienced mariners... especially
those operating smaller vessels... should avoid navigating in
these conditions.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a

* special marine warning for...
Alenuihaha Channel...
Kaiwi Channel...
Maalaea Bay...
Maui County leeward waters...
Maui County windward waters...
Oahu leeward waters...
Oahu windward waters...
Pailolo Channel...

* until 1145 am HST

* at 948 am HST... radar indicated strong thunderstorms capable of
producing winds of 40 to 50 knots. These storms were located over
the Kaiwi Channel and the Maui County waters... moving north
northeast at 30 knots.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Mariners can expect gusty winds... high waves... dangerous lightning...
and heavy rains. Boaters should seek safe Harbor immediately until
this storm passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe Harbor
immediately.


A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until noon HST for
Hawaii... and the adjacent coastal waters.
