Area forecast: ============== Ascension (06s/15s, 00e/20w) wind : E to se 05 to 15, reaching 20 in places. Vis : good.

Angola (06s/15s, 00e/west coast) wind : S to SW 05 to 10 in the extreme east, otherwise se 05 to 15. Vis : good, but poor in evening and morning fog patches in the places in the extreme east.

St Helena (15s/30s, 00e/20w) wind : E to se 10 to 20, reaching 25 at first, but W to NW 10 to 20 in the extreme south, spreading northwards, reaching 25 to 30, becoming W to SW 15 to 25 from the extreme South-West towards the end of the period, reaching 30. Vis : good, becoming moderate in showers and rain in a band from the extreme South-West from mid-period. Sea state: 3.0m over the eastern central parts until mid-period, but in the extreme South-West towards the end of the period, spreading eastwards, SW swell.

Trades (15s/30s, 00e/west coast) wind : variable 05 to 10 in the extreme South-West until mid-period when it will become W to NW 10 to 20, otherwise E to se 10 to 20, reaching 25 in places. Vis : good, but poor in evening and morning fog patches in places in the extreme North-East/ sea state: 3.0 to 3.5m, except in the extreme north, reaching 4.0m in the south-east until mid-period, subsiding from the extreme west towards the end of the period, SW swell.

Tristan (30s/40s, 00e/20w) wind : W to NW 15 to 25, reaching 30 to 35 over the central, eastern and extreme northern parts, but S to SW 15 to 25 in the extreme south, spreading northwards, reaching 30. Vis : good, but moderate to poor in showers and rain in a band over the central parts, spreading north-eastwards. Sea state: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 4.5 to 5.5m in places, NW to SW swell.

Cape west (30s/40s, 00e/20e) wind : S to se 10 to 20 in the extreme North-East, otherwise W to NW 15 to 25, reaching 30 to 35 in places. Vis : good, but moderate in showers and rain in places in the extreme south. Sea state: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the south, SW swell.
