Moderate visibility in showers is expected between cape Columbine and port Alfred on Monday. 3. A gale force sw`ly wind of 35kt is expected in places between Cape Agulhas and east London. 4. Heavy sw`ly swell in excess of 4m is expected in places between cape Columbine and port Alfred on Monday into Wednesday.

Watches: -------- 1. High seas of 6.0 to 8.0m is expected between Cape Agulhas and east London on Tuesday into Wednesday.

Cunene River to Walvis Bay: wind : S to se 10 to 20, reaching 25, becoming W to NW 05 to 15 at times. Vis : good, becoming poor in fog patches at times. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.0m, SW swell.

Walvis Bay to Orange River: wind : S to se 20 to 30, becoming SW 10 to 15 at times. Vis : good becoming moderate to poor in fog patches. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.0m, SW swell.

Orange River to cape agulhas: wind : NW 15 north of cape Columbine, while W 15 to 20 in the south at times, otherwise S to SW 15 to 25. Vis : good, but poor in fog patches north of cape Columbine at times becoming moderate in rain and showers south of port nolloth on Monday. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m, reaching 4.0 to 5.0m south of Cape Point by the second half of the period, SW swell.

Cape Agulhas to east london: wind : SW 20 to 30, reaching 35 between Cape St. Francis and east London by the end of the period. Vis : good becoming moderate to poor in showers and rain, west of mossel Bay in the morning, spreading eastwards reaching east London by the end of the period. Sea state: 3.5 to 4.0m, reaching 4.5m in the port Alfred area, mainly SW swell.

East London to Maputo: wind : N to NE 20 to 30, becoming S to SW 20 to 25 in the south by the second half of the period. Vis : good becoming poor in fog patches in the extreme south by the second half of the period. Sea state: 2.5 to 4.0m, SW swell.

Mozambique channel: wind : S to se 15 to 25, becoming SW to W 05 to 15 in the east by the second half of the period, while E to NE 05 to 15 in the South-West. Vis : moderate in showers and rain, clearing from the South-West by the second half of the period. Sea state: 3.0m in the extreme south at times, SW swell.
