Cunene River to Walvis Bay: wind : SW to S 10 to 20 but S to se 10 to 20 at times in the south. Vis : poor in fog. Sea state: becoming 2.0m in the south, SW swell.

Walvis Bay to Orange River: wind : SW to S 15 to 25, reaching 30 in the south from mid-period when it will be more southerly to south-easterly. Vis : good but poor in fog patches in places. Sea state: 3.0 to 3.5m, SW swell.

Orange River to cape agulhas: wind : S to se 20 to 25. Vis : good. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.0m, SW swell.

Cape Agulhas to east london: wind : W to SW 20 to 30, reaching 35 in places between Cape St Francis and port Alfred, moderating overnight but becoming S to se 05 to 10 along the South Coast overnight. Vis : moderate in showers between Cape St Francis and east London overnight, otherwise good. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m, E swell east of port Alfred at first, otherwise 3.0 to 4.0m, SW swell, spreading eastwards to east London in the afternoon.

East London to Maputo: wind : N to NE 15 to 25, becoming SW 15 to 25 from the south, reaching 30 at times spreading northwards. Vis : moderate in showers and thundershowers. Sea state: 2.0 to 3.0m, mainly S swell.

Mozambique channel: wind : NE 10 in the west, otherwise variable 05 to 10. Vis : moderate in showers and thundershowers in places, otherwise good.
