A slow-moving low pressure system will meander along the Gulf coast this weekend into early next week. Much of the Deep South has been plagued by drought and some areas will get relief. It comes at a cost, however, as flooding is possible in some areas where rainfall totals could top 5 inches. The middle of next week will bring in drier weather.

Many parts of the nation can get out and enjoy the outdoors this weekend if making plans with mom, but there is one region that's likely to be soggy.

As storms pushed across Middle Tennessee on Thursday, including metro Nashville, one county south of there was pounded by fierce hail that quickly covered roads and stripped leaves off trees. Watch this video to see some of that intense hail in Maury County.
