A couple of storm systems will bring multiple days of heavy rain to California beginning today, lasting through Sunday. The heaviest rain will fall across Northern California Thursday into Friday, shifting south into Southern California, including Los Angeles, this weekend. An unsettled weekend is in the forecast across the Northeast as the next storm system brings the chance for rain, accumulating snow and ice. Rain will overspread the region late Saturday changing to a mix of sleet, freezing rain and snow across parts of Upstate New York, Vermont and New Hampshire Saturday night into Sunday morning. Any wintry weather will remain well to the west of I-95.
