Snow is occurring across portions of the Southeast as a short-lived dream come true for Southern snow lovers.

A couple of clipper systems are expected to pass through the Great Lakes, enhancing more lake-effect snowfall into the upcoming week. The next round is making its way through and will continue into Monday, with another round expected by midweek. Strong winds over 30 mph will bring visibility concerns, with parts of the Northern Plains under a Blizzard Advisory. Snowfall totals well over a foot are expected from the heaviest snow bands across all the Great Lakes. Watch for the latest forecast.
