Record highs and warm record lows will be in jeopardy from Wednesday through Saturday thanks to a ridge of high pressure. Sorry snow lovers, snow will melt rapidly across the Midwest and Northeast where highs rise above freezing into the 30s, 40s and 50s for several days in a row. Even longtime residents of Oswego County, New York, were in awe of the amount of snow that’s pummeled the area in the last week. Front doors vanished behind snowdrifts taller than most people.
