Models are suggesting that there is a chance for some winter weather across the South and Southeast late week and into the weekend. There is a lot of wiggle room here, but check back with us frequently to see if your area could be impacted.

Systems continue to push across the Northern Tier of the country, bringing heavy snow to the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and Northeast.

After Winter Storm Warnings were issued in parts of the South on Saturday, snow arrived as far south as Pensacola, Florida.

Winter will have a firm grasp on much of the East this week as multiple rounds of arctic air dive all the way into the South. Temperatures are already well below average to start the week and after a couple days of moderation they will plummet even further. High temperatures could be up to 30 degrees below average for some by the weekend which could impact who might see some winter weather. Time it out here.
