A winter storm dumped more than four and a half feet of snow on parts of California’s Sierra Nevada mountain range on Christmas. While the massive storm shutdown I-80, local ski resorts are busy getting the slopes ready.
Following days of record-breaking Christmas heat, a strong cold front is poised to bring temperatures below average for most of the Eastern US this coming week. For some parts of the Central and Southeastern US, temperatures could drop by over 40 degrees. Watch this video for more details.
