Warm Temps Dominate Central US, Spread East This Week
A shift in the jet stream is bringing warmer temperatures to much of the Central U.S. Highs in the 80s are possible across the Southern Plains, while parts of Montana can see highs in the 60s. These temperatures are 15-30 degrees above average and numerous daily records could fall. In the next few days, this warmup will continue to shift toward the Southeast.
