Caption: This beautiful Baltimore Oriole was at my Hummingbird feeder this morning! The hummingbirds have been few and far between visits, so he can drink all he wants.

When I went back to enjoy this shot before moving on...
I really felt the need to come back and say how well composed this shot is.
Very poetic!
A beautiful frame of pine needles...
The feeder hook is the anchor for the shot.
The wrought iron piece gives the scene motion...
And the Oriole breathes the whole thing to life.

I live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This is a place of extreme contrasts. The weather here is really spectacular, as is the Hiawatha National Forest. Since the first time I visited this place, I always wanted to live here. Now I do.
