Gotta capture these things while they remain. The only covered bridge I knew of was on private property, but near enough to the road to be shot without trespassing. Passed it hundreds of times over the years; the day I took my camera along, intending to immortalize it, I found I was just days too late... gone forever.

Peter, they're covered/enclosed so that lovers can smooch in private, out of the rain, while walking through!

About windchimes1

windchimes1

Hello My name is Chrissy and I am married 46 years and a mother and grandmother. I am retired and have taken up photography as a hobby. Living in the heart of the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, there is plenty of interesting subject matter to photograph.I have discovered that taking pictures can be very addictive,so my camera is always by my side. I love seeing photography from all different areas of this country and the world, and appreciate all comments on my own pictures. This is a wonderful community and I am so glad that this site is available to share my pictures and learn, and interact with others.
