St. Simons, GA

Caption: This is the best I could get in my attempt to shoot the St. Simon's Island Lighthouse at night. I posted so I could say a huge thanks to Laura (SunsetSailor) and Leslie (dixiedaughter) for helping me with my settings. That's just the kind of people they are, and I bet all of you Wunderground photographers are just as kind and fun as the ones I met. Wouldn't it be cool if we could ALL get together!

About swampteach

Hi, I'm Gayle. I'm a retired teacher and am very much enjoying all of God's blessings - especially our grandchildren and traveling. My husband and I love to travel in our RV, and though I'm definitely an amateur, I enjoy taking pictures of the amazing beauty to be found everywhere we go. I first fell in love with this site when I used the wunderful radars as a weather teaching tool in my classroom. Thanks Wunderground! Since I retired I discovered how much I enjoy seeing the world through the pictures here. I am so inspired by the beauty captured by you talented people. There's much to learn from all of you. Thanks everyone!
