Lovely lodge with amazing views, I'm sure, since
it sits at just over a mile high! There are places
in our mountains built out on the edge like that,
as well. I'm sure the contractors know what they
are doing. It's surely not a job for amateurs!
Beautiful shot, Heidrun!

When I send you an email, it bounces right back to me and says you are "away from your email." Hopefully you've received the notes I've sent you, since they've been positive and highly complimentary of your remarkable talent as a photographer.

Thank you for your great comments. The building is a hiker`s / skiers lodge and was re-built since I saw it last in 1969. But even then it stood right there on top of the cliff. It`s a very popular lodge in the Lienzer Dolomites.

I'm with Duane...no roofing repair
for the feint of heart.

How on earth did they ever build
there without mishap?

Well, be it as it may, this is a
wonderful home with a spectacular
view and they make our eyes green
with envy.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful
series, Heidrun.
