It's almost as if the mountains are showing
a vague reflection of that row of white birch
(aspen?) trees. As Charlotte mentioned the
mountainside matches the tree color and
texture. The effect is very beautiful. I also
like the light and shadow patterns on the snow.

These striking, brilliant, high contrast snow images might be even more spectacular in Landscape Mode and ISO about 200 to increase the depth of field and color saturation.
