I like astronomy and learning about the natural world. The effects of light and time-lapse movement have always attracted me. Having a digital camera has allowed me to explore in new ways, not limited by the cost of film or time of development. My older photos are from a cheap automatic 35mm camera. Photos in the last year are from digital cameras: (Borrowed) Canon Powershot S100 Digital Elph, 2x zoom, 2x digital zoom (2.0 megapixels, 1600x1200 pixels) http://www.steves-digicams.com/s100.html Olympus Camedia C-2000Z, 3x zoom, 2.5x digital zoom Fall 2002 (2.0 megapixels, 1600x1200 pixels) http://www.steves-digicams.com/c2000.html Olympus Camedia C-4000Z, 3x zoom, 3.3x digital zoom Spring 2003 (4.0 megapixels, 2288x1712 pixels) http://www.steves-digicams.com/2002_reviews/c4000.html I've had fair success taking pictures through 10x50mm binoculars on a tripod, and my 25 year old telescope. (F/8 6" newtonian reflector) I also include some simulated images from my astronomy program that simulates the motions of the bodies of the solar system.
