The Salton Sea looks majestic and inviting despite being one of the most polluted bodies of water in the country. The picture is taken from the Orocopia Mountains. The dominant peak in the distance is Rabbit peak which has an elevation of 6,666 ft!

It is a pretty lake, but I have read that, under certain conditions, you can smell it in Los Angeles.
