After nearly a month of nothing exciting (just sun and blue skies day after day) this sunset presented itself after thunderstorms appeared in the local mountains. The storms burned off leaving the high cirrus clouds to drift west. San Diego has not seen any precipitation for over 4 months now, and that is not unusual. picture taken at Mt. Urman, my usual sunset spot

About thunderweather
thunderweather I live in San Diego and like taking photos. For those of you that ask, I do not use HDR. The most I do to edit my photos is slightly increasing the contrast or saturation. Visit my website (updated weekly) for a gallery of my favorite photos.
