It will cost approximately $25 Million to fix the boardwalk at Long Beach, Long Island. They are just beginning to tear down the boardwalk. This is still how it still looks 2 1/2 months after Super-storm Sandy.

WOW ! How quickly we forget sometimes. The storm & its aftermath (the fight to recover) are no longer in the news.
The American flag in the center is striking.

Hang in there & Good Luck !

Will share your Long Beach photos w. my husband. For several years his family left the Bronx and headed to Long Beach during the summer. As the beach communities we went to in our youth start rebuilding, we'll try to get out there and boost their fragile economy.

Thank you for the photos and updates.
