This is a restored carousel by the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. The bridge in the photo is the Manhattan Bridge. During Superstorm Sandy there was a concern that the carousel would be destroyed or damaged. The water came up to the carousel but did not go in. Thank goodness.
