wow, thanks so much for the acknowledgement, folks. This shot is from a ridge that is very seldom visited. When you drive around in our mountains, peering up at the precipices, this is how it looks from up there, peering back down. It's taken me decades to develop the skills and it takes at least a few days a week to maintain the fitness to visit these wild places, on their own terms (32 days, climbing 175,00 vertical feet, so far this ski season). Some body's got to do it. Thanks for coming along.
